Anil Ambani group company Reliance MediaWorks Ltd on Thursday said that it has acquired assets of UK-based ilab for an undisclosed amount, reports PTI.

The company has acquired the assets of ilab that would provide processing, restoration, 2D to 3D conversion and post-production services for film, television, commercial and short production, Reliance MediaWorks said in a statement.

"Our expansion is growing at a remarkable pace and we are happy to now be offering our services in the UK, one of the world's leading post-production markets," Reliance MediaWorks chief executive officer Anil Arjun said.

Through Reliance MediaWorks UK, the company will provide services for local film makers and broadcasters, while also catering to Hollywood and Hindi film businesses, he added.

When contacted, company officials declined to comment on the deal size.

Reliance MediaWorks UK has already secured image-processing and restoration work for two projects from UK broadcasters at its US-based subsidiary Lowry Digital, it said.
