India reports 14,348 COVID cases, 805 deaths in past 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, India registered 14,348 new Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.

In the same period, 805 new fatalities were reported, which increased the death toll to 4,57,191 in the country.

The recovery of 13,198 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,36,27,632. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.19 per cent.

The active caseload stands at 1,61,334.

Active cases presently constitute 0.47 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.

Also in the same period, a total of 12,84,552 tests were conducted across the country.

India has so far conducted over 60.58 crore cumulative tests.

Meanwhile, the weekly positivity rate at 1.18 per cent has remained less than 2 per cent for the last 35 days now.

The daily positivity rate stands at 1.12 per cent, which has also remained below 2 per cent for the last 25 days and less than 3 per cent for 60 consecutive days now.

With the administration of 74,33,392 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India's Covid inoculation coverage has reached 104.82 crore as of Friday morning,

India reports 16,156 COVID cases, 733 deaths in past 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, India registered 16,156 new Covid-19 cases and 733 fatalities, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The new fatalities increased the death toll to 4,56,386.

The recovery of 17,095 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,36,14,434. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.20 per cent, currently at its highest peak since March 2020.

The active caseload stands at 1,60,989, lowest in 243 days.

Active cases presently constitute 0.47 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.

Also in the same period, a total of 12,90,900 tests were conducted across the country.

India has so far conducted over 60.44 crore cumulative tests.

Meanwhile, the weekly positivity rate at 1.19 per cent has remained less than 2 per cent for the last 34 days now.

The daily positivity rate stands at 1.25 per cent, which has also remained below 2 per cent for last 24 days and less than 3 per cent for 59 consecutive days now.

With the administration of 49,09,254 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India's Covid inoculation coverage has reached 104.04 crore as of Thursday morning,

In the last 24 hours, India registered 13,451 new Covid-19 cases, and the number of vaccinated people reached 103.53 crore, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

In the same period, 585 new fatalities were reported, which increased the death toll to 4,55,653.

The recovery of 14,021 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,35,97,339. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.19 per cent, currently at its highest peak since March 2020.

The active caseload stands at 1,62,661, which is the lowest in 242 days.

Active cases presently constitute 0.48 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.

Also in the same period, a total of 13,05,962 tests were conducted across the country.

India has so far conducted over 60.32 crore cumulative tests.

Meanwhile, the weekly positivity rate at 1.22 per cent has remained less than 2 per cent for the last 33 days now.

In the same period, 356 new fatalities were reported, which increased the death toll to 4,55,068.

The recovery of 15,951 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,35,83,318. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.19 per cent, currently at its highest peak since March 2020.

The active caseload stands at 1,63,816, which is the lowest in 241 days.

Active cases presently constitute 0.48 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.

Also in the same period, a total of 11,31,826 tests were conducted across the country.

India has so far conducted over 60.19 crore cumulative tests.

Meanwhile, the weekly positivity rate at 1.24 per cent has remained less than 2 per cent for the last 32 days now.

The recovery of 18,762 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,35,67,367. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.18 per cent, currently at its highest peak since March 2020.

The active caseload stands at 1,67,695, which is the lowest in 239 days.

Active cases presently constitute 0.49 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.

Also in the same period, a total of 9,98,397 tests were conducted across the country.

Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.15 per cent, currently at its highest peak since March 2020.

India on Tuesday recorded 14,313 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest in the past 224 days, the Union Health Ministry said.

With 181 fatalities in the same time span, the death toll climbed to 4,50,963.

With 26,579 patients getting cured of the contagion in the last 24 hours, the cumulative tally of recovered patients increased to 3,33,20,057.

Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.04 per cent which is currently at its highest peak since March 2020.

The active caseload is presently 2,14,900, which is the lowest in 212 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.63 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

While the testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, the weekly positivity rate is 1.48 per cent, which has remained less than 3 per cent for the last 109 days now. The daily positivity rate was 1.21 per cent.

The daily positivity rate has remained below 3 per cent for last 43 days and below 5 per cent for 126 consecutive days now, as per the data from Health Ministry.

India's recovery rate currently stands at 98 per cent, the highest since March 2020.

Meanwhile, the active caseload is 2,27,347, the lowest in 209 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.67 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

The active caseload is presently at 2,36,643, which is the lowest in 206 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.70 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

Meanwhile, the fresh deaths have taken the toll to 4,50,375, as per the Health Ministry data.

The weekly positivity rate, at 1.62 per cent, remains less than 3 per cent for the last 106 days now, while the daily positivity rate is 1.56 per cent, having remained below 3 per cent for the last 40 days and below 5 per cent for 123 consecutive days now.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 12,69,291 tests being conducted, taking the cumulative total to over 58 crore tests.

With 79,12,202 vaccine doses administered in the last 24 hours, India's Covid-19 vaccination coverage nears 94 crore mark as per provisional report till 7 a.m. on Saturday. This has been achieved through 91,40,316 sessions.

Over 95.51 crore vaccine doses have been provided to states/UTs so far through the Centre as well as the direct state procurement category. However, more than 8.51 cr unutilised vaccine doses are still available with the states/UTs to be administered, the Health Ministry data said.

A total of 24,602 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recoveries to 3,32,00,258. India's recovery rate stands at 97.95 per cent - the highest since March 2020.

The active caseload is presently 2,44,198, which is the lowest in 204 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.72 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

Meanwhile, the fresh deaths have taken the toll to 4,49,856, as per the Health Ministry data.

The weekly positivity rate, at 1.68 per cent, remains less than 3 per cent for the last 104 days now, while the daily positivity rate is 1.57 per cent, having remained below 3 per cent for last 38 days and below 5 per cent for 121 consecutive days now.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 14,31,819 tests being conducted, taking the cumulative total to over 57.86 crore.

With 43,09,525 vaccine doses administered in the last 24 hours, India's Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed the 92.63 crore mark as per provisional reports till 7 a.m. on Thursday. This has been achieved through 90,14,182 sessions.

Over 93.94 crore vaccine doses have been provided to states/UTs so far through the Centre as well as the direct state procurement category. However, more than 7.64 cr unutilised vaccine doses are still available with the states/UTs to be administered, the Health Ministry data said.

Active caseload is presently 2,46,687, which is the lowest in 203 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.73 per cent of the country's total cases.

Meanwhile, the fresh deaths have taken the toll to 4,49,538, as per the Health Ministry data.

The weekly positivity rate, at 1.68 per cent, remains less than 3 per cent for the last 103 days now, while the daily positivity rate is 1.34 per cent, having remained below 3 per cent for last 37 days and below 5 per cent for 120 consecutive days now.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 14,09,825 tests being conducted, taking the cumulative total to over 57.68 crore.

With 59,48,360 vaccine doses administered in the last 24 hours, India's Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed the 92 crore mark as per provisional reports till 7 a.m. on Wednesday. This has been achieved through 89,35,354 sessions.

Over 92.57 crore vaccine doses have been provided to states/UTs so far through the Centre as well as the direct state procurement category. However, more than 6.93 cr unutilised vaccine doses are still available with the states/UTs to be administered, the health ministry data said.

In the past 24 hours, India reported a total of 20,799 fresh Covid-19 cases, as well as 180 deaths, according to the latest report issued by the Union Health Ministry on Monday.

Also in the last 24 hours, a total of 9,91,676 tests were conducted, pushing the overall number to 57,42,52,400.

While the testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, the weekly positivity rate at 1.63 per cent remained less than 3 per cent for the last 101 days now.

The daily positivity rate was 2.10 per cent after remaining below 3 per cent for the last 35 days and below 5 per cent for 118 consecutive days now.

With the administration of 23,46,176 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India's Covid vaccination coverage has crossed the landmark of 90 crore as per provisional reports till 7 a.m. on Monday.

More than 89.89 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far through Govt of India and through direct state procurement category.

Over 5.67 crore unutilised vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered. the Health Ministry report added.

India on Friday reported 26,727 fresh Covid-19 cases and 277 deaths in the last 24 hr, according to the lated health bulletin issued by the Union Health Ministry.
 
With the latest fatalities, the country's overall death toll now stands at 4,48,339.
 
Meanwhile, the active cases saw a decline in the last 24 hours with of total 1,796 infections, taking the total active caseload to 2,75,224 which accounts for less than of 1 per cent of total Covid cases of India, as per the Union Health Ministry updates.
 
The total active cases in India is 0.82 per cent of the total cases which is the lowest in the last 196 days.
 
India's recovery rate from the ongoing pandemic currently stands at 97.86 per cent which is highest since March 2020.
 
According to the health bulletin, the number of daily recoveries have also increased. The recovery of 28,246 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,30,43,144.
 
The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded. The last 24 hours saw a total of 15,20,899 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted 57,04,77,338 cumulative tests.

With the administration of 64,40,451 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India's overall Covid inoculation coverage has reached 89,02,08,007, as per provisional reports as of 7 a.m. on Friday.
 
This feat was achieved through 86,46,674 sessions.
