Nifty, Sensex continue to remain on an uptrend –Tuesday closing report

We had mentioned in Monday’s closing report that Nifty, Sensex were headed higher. On Tuesday, the indices opened higher and continued its rally. On the NSE, there were 969 advances, 965 declines and 81 unchanged.

SRF board approved bonus issue of equity shares in the proportion of 4 shares of Rs. 10 each for every one share.
 
Telecom firm Bharti Airtel clarified the reports on likely investment by Google into the company as speculations.
 
L&T concluded the divestment of its 100% stake in three hydroelectric power plants in Uttarakhand for a consideration of 1,001.50 crores from Renew Power.
 
Healthcare Triangle Inc, a step-down subsidiary of SecureKloud Technologies Limited, made a public filing for its IPO with the US market regulator SEC for listing in NASDAQ stock exchange.
 
Kotak Mahindra Bank will sell 20 crore shares in Airtel Payments Bank Ltd amounting to 8.57% stake to Bharti Enterprises for around Rs 294 crore.
 
Goodluck India was awarded LoI by L&T for a bullet train project in India. The LoI is for supply and fabrication of special bridges on the National High Speed Rail Track between Mumbai and Vapi. The value of the order is Rs. 198.76 crore.
 
HFCL board is going to consider a fundraising proposal on September 3.
 
Ipca Laboratories credit rating for its commercial paper programme was reaffirmed at A1+ by CRISIL.
 
Ramkrishna Forgings bagged LOI for its warm forging business worth Rs 12 crore per annum from a major global axle manufacturer located in India.
